About Suki
Suki started out as a performer, starring in multiple films and television series. While working as an actress, she taught and coached hundreds of students and professionals in scene study and script analysis, running a successful acting studio for renowned teacher Ivana Chubbuck.
Frustrated by a lack of diversity and strong roles for women, Suki shifted her focus to writing. Her first feature, Deepflight was a Nicholl awards semifinalist, Page awards Gold Prize winner and won the UCLA producing programs Grand Jury Prize.
She worked as a story editor on Van Helsing with show runner Neil Labute and her controversial feature debut script HABIT starring Bella Thorne, Paris Jackson, Hannah Mae Lee, directed by Janell Shirtcliff , produced by Donovan Leitch, Cassian Elwes and Voltage Pictures is in currently in post.
Bella Thorne is also attached to star in Suki’s erotic/thriller script VINDICTA based on the Ellen Von Unwerth book “Revenge” that Ellen will direct, Donovan Leitch, Jean Charles Levy producing.

Suki was born in Bangkok and spent much of her childhood travelling, sparking a lifelong interest in different cultures. She attended University of Colorado, Boulder while studying anthropology and comparative religions.
Primarily a genre writer, Suki incorporates her eclectic interests with a passion for science and adventure and her screenplays often uniquely combine clashing cultures, high-stakes action, environmental and feminist themes and grounded, mystical elements.
In 2012 Suki and her husband captained their 44 ft. sailboat on a circumnavigation of the Pacific Ocean with their two young children. Suki wrote a popular sailing blog http://thewetedgeadventure.blogspot.com about their adventures exploring disappearing coral atolls and raising awareness for the Oceans.
An avid skier, scuba diver and free diver, she has been married for twenty-two years to actor/director Jonathan Scarfe. They split their time between Los Angeles and a small island off the coast of Vancouver.
